Mini Squawk: Polly McMorrow, Managing Director, BBH
Suki caught up with Polly to hear how lockdown has been for BBH.
Having returned to BBH as Managing Director in the midst of lockdown after maternity leave, Polly discusses the return to the office (before it was announce that WFH was once again encouraged) and how BBH's culture has been a competitive advantage for them. As soon as they could bring people back, they did. They allowed people to adjust their timings and hours to make it work for everyone and still encouraged WFH for those needing to.
Polly touches upon the work they've done during lockdown for Tesco with quick pivoting to ensure both the turnaround and quality of work produced was as good as ever, and the success of food love stories during this time.
The work they did for Refuge at the beginning of lockdown is also highlighted - with an increase in domestic violence, it was an incredibly important campaign endorsed by celebrities on Twitter and featured on the Piccadilly Circus billboard to ensure those who needed help most were aware of the Refuge contact number and support.
