Following the award-winning success of the KitKat Chocolatory Sāo Paulo flagship launch in 2019, Nestlé Brazil continued its partnership with Landor & Fitch to extend this wonderland experience online so customers can ‘Have a Break, Have a KitKat’ anytime, anywhere.
Landor & Fitch designed and developed an immersive and inspirational KitKat eCommerce experience which celebrates personalisation and community. Visitors can express themselves by customising their own products and gifts, as well as joining The Break Society.
Hero signature experiences at the flagship store are replicated: fans can browse through the iconic pick n’ mix, upload photos and print them on KitKat chocolate bars, type in personalised messages and have them laser-etched on metal tins packaging. All while seamlessly integrating with KitKat Brazil’s social media accounts for optimum shareability.
This extraordinary break experience is the first Brazilian eCommerce “digital flagship”, enabled through the use of WebGL technology. The design is themed to a KitKat Chocolatory Wonderland to encourage play and exploration.
Breakthroughs in service design also enable omnichannel features such as ‘Multi-Stock’, which identifies the nearest physical store to carry out the delivery, ‘Click & Collect’, and a two-hour express delivery option.
Launched in January 2021, KitKatchocolatory.com.br is the latest step in the ultimate omnichannel break experience for KitKat Brazil.
