Mini Squawk: Xavier Rees, CEO, Havas London & Havas CX helia.
Suki caught up with Xavier to hear how they've been getting on.
Xavier Rees caught up with Suki last week to talk about how the agency have been getting on. Employee comfort levels have increased when it comes to the constant short window of visibility – making decisions faster which once might have felt risky, has become the new norm. Being ready at short notice to be fluid and flexible, something agencies have always needed to be good at, has become an even greater strength.
There have been many positive changes which will remain in place when people eventually return to the office again – one of which will include not having meetings before 09:30 or after 17:00. It makes all the difference.
Xavier further touches upon some of the clients they've been working with over the last year including: Durex, where they’ve seen surges in demand as the lockdowns have come and gone; working with EDF as they look after the planet to get our nation to Net Zero; supporting Carling and their messaging due to the hospitality industry having been hit so hard by the pandemic; as well as their pro bono work on the Black Plaque initiative.
