Suki chats with Richard about how lockdown has been for Media Brands and joining as UK & Ireland CEO during lockdown.

Suki caught up with Richard to hear how Media Brands have been doing this year. It's multi-located with 1000 people based in three London offices, one in Leeds and one in Peterborough and they cover everything through from consultancy and strategy to digital activation and everything in between. Their work has remained strong and the outlook good regardless of the turbulent year and the bond with their clients has grown even more during this period.

In the first lockdown they saw the retail distribution impact some clients which in turn impacted the work that clients were asking of them. They also touch upon working with Carlsberg during the first lockdown and how the work was influenced by a growing sense of community and empathy.

As has been for all of us this year, Richard discusses the challenges of working remotely for such a long period of time. The human connection that is so powerful that employees have missed this year - how do they get over this and take care of their people. They're also looking at investing in coaching initiatives to start accelerating people's career again to acknowledge that a lot of people feel that this year their careers have been put on hold.
