Mini-Squawk: Neil Simpson, founding partner, The Corner
Neil and Suki talk about the agency's decision to go independent again
It's been a fascinating process for the agency to return to independence - and has a deep impact on the business' thinking. Rather than putting shareholders and the numbers first, they'll be able to focus on people, clients and the work more.
As the agency goes through this change, they are focussed on how they reset the business - to ask big questions, and actively shaping what they want the business to be, looking at the people they want to bring in, to look at skills and capabilities and truly be a place where - as is written on the agency wall 'people meet and things happen'
And right now they're in the process of delivering work for clients including Jackpot Joy and Batiste, and have picked up two new clients during lockdown.
