Mini Squawk: Mike Fantis, Vice President, Managing Partner, DAC Group
Forrester recognises DAC as one of the world’s most significant Performance Marketing Agencies and so Suki Thompson caught up with their VP, Managing Partner, Mike Fantis, in this Mini Squawk.
DAC Group drive transformational growth by amplifying brands to audiences on their digital customer journeys, accounting for who and—uniquely—where they are. Forrester recognises DAC as one of the world’s most significant Performance Marketing Agencies and so Suki Thompson caught up with their VP, Managing Partner, Mike Fantis, in this Mini Squawk.
They touch upon what it’s been like over the last 12 months for DAC Group including working with clients such as David Lloyd. As a client who rely on the club membership as part of the experience for customers, it was harder to recreate this virtually, but they supported them to pivot and turn content into homework outs for members. Mike further talks about working with Center Parcs and Bicester Village and how they helped to pivot. On the flip side, clients operating in e-commerce such as NetJets, operating within the private aviation sector, thrived in the last year.
Looking ahead, DAC Group are about to embark on a Q&A with retailers – they’re finding that customers are desperate to get back into stores as opposed to always buying online. Mike talks about the need for brands to have multiple threads for each of those audience groups and being sure to analyse what customers want along with the danger of brands only choosing to do one or the other.
Mike shares how DAC Group are heading back into the office with a current rota in place to give employees choice as to when they do and don’t go in. They’re going to treat the office more as a collaboration space rather than just an office space which will see them heading back in on a 2/3 day a week basis.
