Suki caught up with Andy to hear how Lucky Generals have been getting on and what the focus of 2021 is for them - their existing clients. In other years, there has been a new business drive, but this year is very much about focusing on their current clients as well as regenerating the agency and bringing new people in.
Lucky Generals are all about working with brands who are on a mission! They would prefer to have fewer clients with much deeper relationships and we hear about some of their clients including Amazon (brought to them by Oystercatchers), The Co-op, Yorkshire Tea and Zoopla (to mention a few).
As a leader, Andy touches on one of the challenges in lockdown – how to make it ok and easy for their people to talk about the current issues, rather than giving into a temptation to pretend everything’s great and keep on going. There has to be a way of allowing people to voice personal/private worries and it should be encouraged.
