In 2019, LEGO faced a new challenge; we didn’t have the cultural velocity of a new book or film to spring board from to get the country excited about the LEGO Harry Potter range.

 

But by moving away from our traditional targeting approach for LEGO, and embedding ourselves in key Potterhead environments we were able to make the wizarding world feel real for fans.

 

And the results? Increased sales by 40% YOY, and importantly making all of the top 10 items for the Harry Potter Franchise Property LEGO.
