On Tuesday 31 March, MKTG in partnership with &Proud hosted their first virtual webinar in celebration of International Day of Transgender Visibility, welcoming a host of guests from the LGBTQ+ community to discuss transgender representation in media and beyond. 

We heard from Mark Runacus MBE, Chair of advertising's LGBTQ+ lobby group Outvertising, Matt Moore, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Mermaids Charity and Lui Asquith, Mermaids' Legal and Policy Manager and non-binary activist, as they shared what it's like to be transgender today, discussed how brands like Starbucks are breaking barriers of prejudice and discuss the role of advertising in promoting inclusivity.
