Once a year, we take our regular Oystercatchers Club panel-interview format and try something a bit different.
In 2017 we had a mini-festival with headliner TED-style talks and interactive displays
In 2018 our presenters from Disney, IBM, MiQ and FreeMavens delivered brilliant fast-paced pecha-kucha talks and we had some amazing hands-on tech
In 2019 we’re changing it up again and would like to invite you to…
Oystercatchers Fight Club
On Tuesday 2nd July 2019 we’ll be at The Vinyl Factory, Poland Street in Soho, tackling some of the biggest debates in our industry right now.
MC’d by Phil Edmonds and referreed by Suki Thompson, we’ll be holding three rap battle style lighting-fights where our speakers get to argue their case, face off against each other, and then we’ll turn to the audience to see who they side with. All glory and a trophy to the winner! Heckling will be positively encouraged.
And whilst this all sounds like fun (which we think it will be) the topics we’ll be debating will be absolutely serious.
- Agency models
- Data and AI
So if you’re ready to fight your corner, please join us for a brilliant evening of debate and networking, to get hands on with some of the most pressing subjects affecting our industry.
