Plenty, the household towel brand, is embracing the mess this year with a campaign that bucks the conventions of festive advertising and gives us a version of Christmas we can’t unsee.

AMV BBDO's first campaign for Plenty is a film set to the track ‘Love Hurts’ by Nazareth, and is directed by award-winning and Emmy-nominated director, Steve Rogers.

It features a series of messy and awkward encounters with loved ones who test our love to the limit: puking babies; weeing dogs; backslapping drink spillers; floored turkey; and relatives who don’t lock toilet doors.
