Oystercatchers Club events are back
"Faster, better, cheaper. The recipe for success in 2021?"
Although we can't bring our valued Club members a face-to-face event just yet, we can bring virtual events with stellar panels and valuable networking opportunities.
So we were delighted that for 2021 we're back with our invite-only Oystercatchers Club events.
The first one kicked off on the evening of Thursday 21 January when we asked:
“Faster, better, cheaper. The recipe for success in 2021?”
As always, the panel was hosted by our very own Suki Thompson, and we were thrilled that joining our first panel of the year were these incredible industry names:

Gary Kibble, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at Wickes
Natalie Graeme, Co-founder of Uncommon London
Trevor Robinson OBE, Founder of Quiet Storm
Because we know how important it is for the opportunities to share experiences with your peers, we set aside time prior to the panel event for exclusive roundtable networking. Of course networking is so much part of our Club events so we felt it important to incorporate this element.
We invited all our Club member to join us and it was great to see so many familiar faces! We were lucky to meet some new faces too ensuring that the Oystercatchers Club continues to grow as we challenge industry norms, discuss best practice, inspire curious minds, and transform the Industry.
The evening was beautifully summed up by Suki:
"There are so many facets to the challenges that lie ahead. If we energise our people and give them a North Star to follow, so much will be achieved, at a time when we need it most.
Better, and perhaps faster, but definitely not just cheaper was the sentiment last night."
Following the success of October’s digital Festival of Marketing, 2021 will see three Festivals take place, beginning with The Bottom Line on 23-25 March. We're delighted that our next Oystercatchers Club event will take place then.
