We’re delighted to announce that Gill Huber will be joining Oystercatchers as our new Managing Partner at the start of July.

Bringing us a raft of strategic skills in leading business, supporting clients and understanding the brilliance of agencies, Gill is a perfect match for Oystercatchers, Xeim and our future growth plans.

Gill joins Oystercatchers from Posterscope, the world’s leading location-based marketing specialist, where she was Chief Client Officer - responsible for building client growth through creative and dynamic integrated communications.

Under her leadership, Posterscope landed brilliant recognition for outstanding campaigns for Co-op, BT, Diageo, Hendrick’s Gin, Steve McQueen and Nestlé among others, all based on insight, data, technology and brilliant agency partnerships. A pioneer and innovator, Gill led the launch of the UK’s first 100% recyclable posters, a ground-breaking ‘Moments of Truth’ OOH study in collaboration with Clear Channel and JCDecaux, and introduction of PSMind - an AI machine learning tool which forecasts and tracks population movement.

Gill’s career has included stints as Marketing & Communications Director, Starcom MediaVest Group, and, account management and planning at OMD. She has worked with iconic brands such as Heineken partnering with adam&eveDDB on the successful Foster’s campaign; the launch of McDonald’s “I’m Lovin It” campaign; EMI’s album launches for Professor Green and Coldplay. Boots, Capital One and Gillette are all part of her portfolio.

Suki Thompson comments: “Huge changes in human behaviour resulting from Covid have accelerated transformation across digital, marketing and creativity.  We’re heading to post-lockdown recovery, consumer confidence is returning and pitches are stepping up as clients look for agency partners to help navigate the path to growth. Gill’s superb credentials in collaborating with clients, creative and media agencies, and media owners are second to none. We’re delighted to welcome her to the Oystercatchers’ family.”

Gill takes on her new role from Jude Bridge who decided to step down and return to her non- executive and portfolio career. Jude joined Oystercatchers in 2019 following senior marketing roles including Marketing Communications Director at M&S and Global CMO at Mothercare.

Gill says, “I’m delighted to be joining Oystercatchers. The passion, expertise, and dedication to deliver a mission of accelerating growth for brands can be vibrantly seen in their people, throughout the business and in every touchpoint.  I feel privileged to be taking the helm and working alongside Suki and Richard."

She continued, “Given the turbulent times we’re all experiencing, the need for brand growth will accelerate and, from my experience, strong client and agency partnerships working in the best possible way is crucial to winning. I’m looking forward to working with a terrific team   to nurture and support successful, enduring client and agency relationships set up to navigate new challenges and opportunities ahead.”
