Case Study: VERB Brands and Bugatti
By identifying key audience engagement drivers, we delivered an optimised content strategy, adaptation of existing assets, and high volume always-on social media management, with the objective of long-term brand building through follower growth.
VERB was appointed as BUGATTI’s social media agency in March 2019 with the role to build on and improve BUGATTI’s social media presence in their 110th year. BUGATTI wanted to achieve an on-brand and luxury presence on Instagram that attracts aspirational consumers, whilst still appealing to the small customer base of UHNWI (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals).
Despite being a globally renowned brand, BUGATTI had identified that their audience growth rate on social media was not reflective of other activity. They also required ongoing assistance with scaling their social media program.
VERB identified through initial consultation that social media was a key communications channel for BUGATTI; and using audience insights, built a content strategy that was not only optimised for growth but easy to implement and facilitate. Additionally, to further boost engagement and audience growth, we worked closely with our design studio to adapt and repurpose quality assets from various different sources.
VERB grew the account by 3.1 million followers in the first 6 months of being BUGATTI’s social media agency. We achieved a consistent 15%~ average engagement rate on Instagram and on average 7% across all channels. We maintained an average monthly growth rate of 3.31% on Instagram.
