Peaky Blinders has developed an unmatched cult following. Ahead of the series five launch we were given the challenge to redirect their followers from Netflix back to the true home of Peaky Blinders… the BBC.
One manifestation of the show’s cult following has been the incredible fan art dedicated to the show. We wanted to take this private fandom and turn it into public artwork; with media as the canvas. Fan art not only appeared on high impact billboards across the UK, but two in particular would be transformed into massive murals in London and Birmingham.
The campaign received heavy PR coverage and featured on multiple news outlets. The series 5 launch smashed viewing targets and broke BBC iPlayer records for the first time ever.
