Cory Eisentraut, ECD of Wunderman Thompson Canada joins BBD Perfect Storm
The independent brand and cultural transformation company, BBD Perfect Storm, has brought in global talent and widened the UK creative talent pool by appointing Cory Eisentraut, Executive Creative Director of Wunderman Thompson Canada, as Creative Partner.
Cory will work alongside Seb Hill, Executive Creative Director and report to Jason Foo, the agency CEO. This engagement follows a string of new business wins in the past six months, including: Unilever’s Dove for Men and Charles Tyrwhitt.
Cory has created award-winning work for iconic brands such as HSBC Bank, BMW, New Balance and Sick Kids Hospital. Prior to his role as ECD of Wunderman Thompson, Eisentraut was Vice President, Creative Director at Havas Canada; and previously Creative Director of Canadian independent, Cundari.
Having made his name on the international circuit by winning multiple Gold Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show pencils and the Marketing Magazine Grand Prix. He is a well-known talent in Canada, having been a judge at each of Canada’s creative award shows, contributor to Canada’s Strategy magazine and a professor at the ICA’s CAAP course.
This role has been created due to the increase of work demands as the team and company expands. Seb Hill has been the Executive Creative Director of BBD Perfect Storm since its inception in 2013, after the leadership team departed Publicis Chemistry and launched the agency.
