Legal & General Insurance's media planning & buying business will return to Carat UK, after eight years. Fellow Dentsu Aegis Network agency, Merkle will continue to work on paid search and programmatic display, services they initially picked up in 2015. Carat will start working on the account from January 2020.

Market-leader in the individual protection market, Legal & General Insurance (LGI) have ambitious plans to drive future growth and were looking for the perfect agency partners to support them in  reimagining their world to become a data-driven, tech-enabled and customer-experience focused business.

Jo Sutherland, CEO, Carat UK says: We are absolutely delighted to work with such a progressive business who is committed to digital transformation. We’ve already built a really strong heritage of performance delivery with L&G in our network and are excited about building the intersection of brand and performance activity to drive business growth. There is a real opportunity for L&G in data-driven planning led by a consistent approach to audiences which we are delighted to be partnering them on.
