agenda21 and Equifax launch ‘Single Parents at Christmas’
As part of our ongoing content work for Equifax’s Knowledge Centre, agenda21 have released ‘Single Parents at Christmas’, a campaign aimed at raising financial awareness around this sensitive subject matter in the run-up to the festive period.
The Knowledge Centre is a practical, essential resource for visitors seeking advice ranging from debt management, budgeting and boosting their credit scores. As part of an ongoing strategy to develop this informational hub, we have built a collection of valuable pages and insights to help people financially negotiate the world today.
The campaign integrates leading financial research, expert advice and visually leading components, including an infographic designed to inform, educate and engage with wider audiences.
We have teamed up with Equifax to conduct a survey exploring the outlook of single parents in the lead up to Christmas.
The survey found:
· Nearly 60% of parents felt less confident about their finances in the run-up to Christmas
· 21% of those polled didn’t know how they would finance Christmas at all
· 8% felt they had their money situation under control
The research underpins expert advice given by Lisa Hardstaff, consumer credit expert at Equifax who says, “The crucial element when it comes to budgeting is to gather as much information about your financial situation as possible to see where you might be able to cut back on some areas.”
As well as crafting the content and conceiving the idea, agenda21 will also be outreaching this. We will be focusing on online national newspapers such as Metro.co.uk and consumer-driven titles such as Yahoo finance as key our ‘golden’ targets.
We’re extremely excited to be working with Equifax on this important awareness piece and look forward to driving results with a key focus on national and consumer press.
