HIGHJAM – Looking back on Summer 2019
With record-breaking heatwaves, summer festivals and sporting events encouraging us to get outside, this summer was a fantastic time to activate experiential marketing activities. Here’s a wrap-up of some of our favourite sunshine campaigns from the past couple of months.
First up, let’s talk about Wimbledon. We love this time of year and it helps to have the weather on our side when sporting events come around. Wimbledon saw us carry out consumer research programs and multiple sampling campaigns for various clients. We also welcomed a new client into the HIGHJAM family who wanted to sample delicious Puerto de Indias strawberry gin. So, with just one week to turn it around, our superb brand ambassadors were out on the streets of Wimbledon donning branded jet-packs full of ice-cold G&Ts for thirsty spectators.
The Guardian has also been keeping us busy over the summer months. Not only have we been involved in some large in-store campaigns across the UK, we’ve also been promoting the 2019 OFM Awards and visiting summer festivals including Edinburgh, Hampton Court Food Festival and Big Feastival – and there’s still more to come! Spreading the word, we’ve been out and about promoting both the print and digital editions of the newspaper as well as their brilliant supplements including Feast and Review.
And finally, our Bavaria 0.0% beer campaign has seen us travel the length and breadth of the country through a carefully devised three-tiered sampling program. From city centres and train stations targeting thirsty commuters, to surprise and delight goody bags at selected events and finally an Experiential sampling campaign at festivals attracting the target audience, focused on increasing brand engagement and recall by allowing consumers to relax in a branded, yet natural and fun environment.
