It is his passion for improving customer communication on the back of in-depth insight that has fuelled Ian Stockley’s impressive career. Having spent five years as a professional classical singer, his marketing career began at Reader’s Digest, where he ended his seven-year stint as Director of UK Music and Video. He then moved agency side as Board Director of Colleagues, and in 2000 founded direct marketing agency, Entire.

In March 2008, after eight years of consecutive growth, Ian sold the business to the Indicia Group. In 2009 Entire merged with Marketing Databasics to form Indicia. In 2012 Indicia acquired Evolving, which has now been fully integrated into Indicia.

Today Indicia has a turnover of £10m and employs a team of over 100, who with customer engagement at their core, are dedicated to Ian’s belief that building customer insight to inspire compelling strategy and incisive creative is the way ahead.
