As Samsung had grown to become the largest consumer electronics company in the world it had developed a vast ‘free-for-all’ agency network that was inefficient and holding the business back amidst a complex commercial landscape.

WHAT WE DID

Oystercatchers conducted a deep dive discovery across all of Samsung’s rostered agencies to identify improvements in agency ways of working, cross-agency collaboration and designed Samsung’s new agency model.

We have worked to overhaul how rostered agencies collaborate and communicate to create focussed and efficient ways of working whilst appointing and on boarding best in class specialist agencies.

THE IMPACT

In line with our agreed agency model, we have worked with Samsung’s pan-European business to re-scope and appoint the best digital, creative, strategic, and technical agency talent in the world.

Using our deep experience and commercial benchmarking tools we have engineered best practice ways of working, processes and commercial agreements between Samsung and its agencies.  We delivered savings in excess of £1.5m in just two years, revitalised Samsung’s agency relationships and significantly uplifted their agency firepower.
